Pepper(mint)
Created for Shaun Inman’s Mint, these “Pepper” provide added functionality to this simple, AJAX-driven web statistics collection tool.
Fresh View uses XML-based SVG to visualize your Mint visitor data, summarized over the past 24 hours, past week, past month, or past year. Stop the mental task of comparing raw numbers in the Visits pane, and taste see your Mint!
WordPress Plugins
These plugins add functionality to WordPress blogging software.
PhotoStack plugin for WordPress reads your PhotoStack RSS file and outputs the last x albums. The first picture of the album is used to identify each of the recent albums. The plugin allows for various formatting options to suit your site.
Data Analysis
These are side-projects that emphasize data collection, presentation and analysis. There is always lots of data available, but often large gaps in ability to see, manipulate or use that data.
MailStat uses the power PHP, AppleScript, and launchd to produce beautiful SVG graphs that simply plot the total number of emails received and the number of those that were spam or unsolicited email. After ridding myself of my oldest email address, my spam numbers have dropped precipitously.
