Timelapse iSight Shots

These were created with an iSight webcam and EvoCam for OS X, capturing images every x seconds and creating a QuickTime movie of the still shots.

In Removing carpet, witness the speed and fury of my family and I removing carpet and parquet from my mom’s house to make way for new hardwood floors. (June 25, 2004 )

In Drive to Palm Springs, I attached the iSight to my Jetta’s dashboard and set it to take snapshots every 15 seconds on a drive to Palm Springs, CA. Only two major stops were made: a rest area and In-N-Out Burger. Mmm, that was good! (July 20, 2004)

In Medical School Studying 101, watch as three medical students work their way through 1/3 of a course in a single day (8 lectures). Whew! The video gives a single hint on what course our minds grappled with today. We study, we ponder, we discuss, we eat, we study. The life one only dreams about as a kid. (2007.02.18)

Another day means Medical School Studying 102, where we tackle more material. What else can I say? (2007.02.19)

I have nothing more to add. Just watch the fun. (2007.02.20)

More reading, more drilling. (2007.02.21)

We never stop. (2007.02.22)

Yes. (2007.02.23)

I’m not kidding. Look at the date. (2007.02.24)

No, it doesn’t end here. (2007.02.25)

Two down. One big one and several incidental, smaller ones to go. (2007.02.26)

Late start. Thank you clinical ethics. Thank you physical diagnosis. (2007.02.27)

Something must be wrong with us because we don’t remember what fun is. (2007.02.28)

Please let it be done. (2007.03.01)

Web Comics

Here are some comics on the web that I enjoy reading in my spare time.

Latest Joy of Tech! provides for some great Apple/Mac humor year-round, poking fun at Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mac users, and the world that envelops these (sometimes) fanatical computer geeks.
