Shaky Legs
Could my legs be any more sore? After an entire weekend finishing the tile master bathroom, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. (I still have to reset the toilet and grout.) Let me first say that if you ever consider putting in natural stone yourself, think about the pros and cons of the size of tile very carefully. Remember that an 18” tile weighs a hell of a lot more than a 12” tile, and that you are going to have to manipulate and cut those larger tiles in varied ways depending on the size of the room. It took me nearly 45 minutes to cut a single tile that stradled a weird corner in the bathroom. The whole weekend I was kneeling, squating—Saturday was fine, but Sunday ruined me.
Now I must take the week to allow my legs to recycle all that lactic acid buildup. The pain is just killing me.
I cannot wait for this to be done.
