After four quiet days, I am back from Palm Springs. The heat down there is just unimaginable during the summer: usually a roasting 110 to 120˚ F (43 to 49˚ C)! How’s that for hot? I made a cool time-lapse video of the drive down. We made a stop at a rest area and an In-n-Out Burger, but otherwise it was uneventful.

Anyway, I have a few post ideas on the docket for the coming days including some political talk, a bit of nanotechnology news, and detecting spam through biological classification. Stay tuned.
