New York Times Crossword Puzzle
I love these! My university’s school of journalism started providing the NY Times for free all over campus. What a wonderful paper! The content is informative (regardless of your political affiliation, I would argue) and quality. They stray away from using wire articles for filler, quite unlike my local, gannett POS. And to top it off, they have the best crossword puzzles everyday.
Although I’m not in school right now (summer time and all), I stopped by my old house where my roommates still get the NY Times (never read it, either, mind you) for free thanks to the old owner never changing his address on the subscription and picked up their copy. It has been a month or two since I did a crossword from the Times, and I miss it. I’m going to try and find a way to get it every day without having to drive all the way across town to get it. I wish the subscription prices were more friendly to students.
I have not yet looked at the answers for yesterday’s puzzle, but I only missed a few. That should not surprise anyone because Monday’s puzzle is always the easiest. They get harder as the week progresses with Saturday’s puzzle being nearly impossible for me. As I get better, though, I’m sure I’ll be able to get more of Saturday’s clues.
